Connect

Step #1 at Rolesville Community Church is connecting. In so many ways, our world has become disconnected. We want to help you reconnect; with God first, then with one another, and finally with the local church.

Connecting With God Through Worship

Through worship; singing, praying, studying the scriptures, giving tithes and offerings, we connect with God. Our Sunday morning worship services are designed to bring attention to God and not to ourselves. We consider Sunday morning a great opportunity to welcome all people no matter where they are in their relationship to God. We choose to worship in a way that makes our guests feel comfortable and ready to connect with God in a non-threatening, and loving environment. Once a month, we celebrate Holy Communion together as a point of connection with God. Holy Communion is open to all who profess Jesus Christ as Savior. We also celebrate water baptisms throughout the year as a testimony of our connection with God.

Connecting With One Another Through Fellowship

Rolesville Community Church is a church made up of people from all walks of life. We come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but we have found oneness in Christ and we place a high value on connecting with one another. This also happens on Sunday morning. First, we encourage everyone to arrive early and enjoy  fellowship and refreshments around the coffee pot! Second, right in the middle of the worship service, we set aside a time for everyone to move out from their seat and spend time greeting others. At Rolesville Community Church, we don't rush this time because we see it as a vital part of the connecting process. Third, we encourage everyone to spend time in fellowship at the conclusion of the worship service.

Connecting With The Church Through Membership

We place a high value on membership. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior should desire to associate with a local church in formal membership. We ask people to commit to membership as a means of connecting with our church.  From time to time, we offer  a  class called "Newcomers Orientation" for those considering membership. The class is led by the senior pastor. It's a great place to learn more about the RCC   process; where we are heading and how you can become a part of it.
