Steve grew up in South Africa where he was born with Retino Blastoma, a cancer to the eye. At a very young age the Lord healed him miraculously, and ever since then Steve had always sensed God’s calling on his life to be in ministry. After completing a degree in Theology in South Africa, he moved to England where he became a school teacher. This opened the door to travel and live in various countries including Kenya, Sudan, England and Taiwan. In 2005 Steve moved to the US after he was offered a teaching position in North Carolina. This is where he met his wife Becca and in 2006 Steve became the pastor of a new church plant in Wallace, NC. After serving as leaders at this church for three years, they sensed God’s calling to move to Raleigh. In 2009 they founded a non-profit ministry called Touching Hearts that supports mission outreaches to minister to orphans in South Africa. Steve joined RCC in May 2011. Email - steve@steveleroux.org
