Serve

Step #3 at Rolesville Community Church is serving. True Discipleship is reflected in serving others. True disciples of Jesus Christ cannot help but find ways to serve others. At Rolesville Community Church, we ask everyone to find a way to serve inside the church, a ministry, and outside the church, a mission, and we stand ready to help with both.

Ministry Opportunities Around The Church

Publicity/Advertisement - This involves putting out signs before Sunday service and removing them following the service. It also includes placing posters and flyers in public places where permitted.

Usher/Greeter Ministry - The role of the greeter is to welcome people as they arrive on Sunday mornings, especially making our visitors feel welcome. Ushers are responsible for passing out printed materials, receiving the tithes and offerings, and generally attending to needs.

Children's/Youth Ministry - Children’s church meets Sunday mornings during the worship service. Helpers are needed before and after to help with setting up and tearing down the room. We need nursery attendants, teachers, and assistant teachers as well.

Computer/Web Maintenance -
This ministry involves preparing PowerPoint slide shows for Sunday services, setting up the computer and projector prior to the service, and regularly updating our church web page.

Small Group Ministry - Small groups are an integral part of our overall ministry. We are always looking for hosts to open their home up to a group as well as small group leaders to lead the groups.

Outreach/Evangelism - The Outreach team constantly looks for ways to reach out to the community expressing the love of Christ to the non-churched by meeting their tangible needs and sharing the gospel with them.

Prayer Ministry - Our prayer ministry is called PowerPointe. This team plans, promotes, and carries out prayer related activities. They meet Sunday mornings at 10:00 for prayer. They also receive and maintain the weekly prayer requests that come in.
